Community Guidelines

This is how we keep Zupp safe, kind, and fun for everyone.

Last updated: 2025-12-12

Zupp is a place to meet new people and build real friendships. To keep it safe for everyone – especially teenagers – we use these Community Guidelines.

By using Zupp, you agree to follow these rules. They apply to everything you do on Zupp: your profile, photos, interests, messages, and any other content you share.

If someone breaks these guidelines, we may warn them, restrict features, remove content, or suspend or ban their account. In serious cases, especially involving minors, threats, or exploitation, we may also contact law enforcement.

We use a mix of user reports, automated systems, and manual review to keep Zupp safe. We also update these guidelines from time to time as the app grows.

Overview

Zupp is built for connection, not chaos. Everyone on Zupp deserves to feel safe, respected, and in control of their experience.

These guidelines explain what is not allowed on Zupp and what may lead to content removal or account action. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If you ever feel uncomfortable or see something that breaks these rules, please report it and, if needed, block the user. We review reports and take action where appropriate.

Respect each other

Behind every profile is a real person. Zupp is not the place to bully, embarrass, or attack others. Disagreements can happen, but you must stay respectful and kind.

No harassment or bullying

Do not use Zupp to harass, bully, or target another person.

We look at both what you say and how often you say it.

  • Teasing, insulting, or name-calling someone in a hurtful way.
  • Sending repeated messages when someone has clearly asked you to stop.
  • Trying to embarrass, humiliate, or intimidate someone.
  • Encouraging others to gang up on, exclude, or target a specific person.

Note

Jokes are not an excuse. If someone feels attacked or unsafe, it is not acceptable on Zupp.

No sexual harassment

Sexual harassment is strictly not allowed on Zupp, no matter the age of the people involved.

  • Sending unwanted sexual messages, images, audio, or videos.
  • Commenting on someone’s body or appearance in a sexual way.
  • Pressuring someone into sexual conversations or flirting when they are not comfortable.
  • Continuing sexual talk after someone has said no or stopped replying.

Note

Being friendly is not consent. You must respect other people’s boundaries at all times.

No hate speech or discrimination

Zupp has zero tolerance for hatred or discrimination. You must not attack or demean people based on who they are.

  • Using slurs or insults about someone’s race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
  • Sharing hateful symbols or content that promotes exclusion or violence against a group.
  • Supporting or praising hate groups or extremist ideologies.

Note

You can disagree with ideas, but you cannot attack people or groups in a hateful or dehumanizing way.

No body shaming or appearance attacks

Zupp is not a place to make people feel bad about how they look.

  • Mocking someone’s weight, height, skin, or any physical feature.
  • Editing photos to embarrass or humiliate others.
  • Comparing people’s bodies or looks in a degrading way.

No threats or promotion of violence

Violent threats or content that praises violence is not allowed.

  • Threatening to hurt someone, even as a “joke”.
  • Encouraging violence, abuse, or serious harm.
  • Glorifying attacks, mass harm events, or violent acts.
  • Supporting or promoting violent extremist organizations or individuals.

No exploitation or predatory behavior

Zupp is not a place to exploit, manipulate, or take advantage of others, especially minors.

  • Asking for or sharing nude or sexually explicit images.
  • Blackmailing or threatening to leak private information or content.
  • Building inappropriate or manipulative relationships with younger users (grooming).

Note

We have zero tolerance for predatory behavior. When necessary, we may report such activity to law enforcement.

No sharing private or personal information

Respect people’s privacy. Do not expose or threaten to expose someone’s private information.

  • Sharing someone’s real name, phone number, address, school, or social media without their consent.
  • Posting screenshots of private conversations to shame or attack someone.
  • Threatening to reveal someone’s identity or personal details.

Protect minors

Zupp uses age-based safety rules. Teens (ages 13–17) and adults (18+) have separate discovery pools. We do not show adults to teens or teens to adults.

Any attempt to bypass this, such as lying about your age or creating fake accounts, is a serious violation of our rules and may lead to a permanent ban and, where applicable, reports to law enforcement.

No contact between teens and adults

Teens and adults must not interact on Zupp. Our systems are designed to separate age groups, and users must respect this.

  • If you are 18 or older, you must not try to talk to users who are under 18.
  • If you are under 18, you must not try to talk to users who are 18 or older.
  • You must not lie about your age, use another person’s account, or create extra accounts to bypass age rules.

Note

We treat attempts to contact minors as extremely serious and may report such behavior to relevant authorities.

No sexual conduct with minors

Adults must never involve minors in any sexual content or conversations, and minors must not be encouraged into sexual behavior.

  • Asking for or sending sexual content to anyone under 18.
  • Flirting with minors, grooming, or trying to build romantic or sexual relationships with them.
  • Sharing or threatening to share any content that sexually depicts minors, including edited or AI-generated media.

No adult content shared with minors

Adults must not expose minors to adult or explicit content.

  • Sending explicit images or videos to someone under 18.
  • Posting explicit material in any space where minors are present.
  • Encouraging minors to view or take part in adult content.

If you’re under 18, avoid risky or sexual behavior

Even if something feels okay in the moment, it can still put you or someone else at risk and is not allowed on Zupp.

  • Sending or requesting sexual content, even with someone your own age.
  • Engaging in sexual conversations or dares.
  • Trying to confront or “expose” other users on your own instead of using report and block tools.

Respect Zupp

Zupp only works if people use it honestly, safely, and in line with our rules. Do not abuse features, mislead others, or put the platform or community at risk.

If you are here to scam, spam, or break rules, this is not the right app for you.

No impersonation or catfishing

You must be honest about who you are. Filters and fun edits are fine, but full fake identities are not.

  • Uploading photos of someone else and pretending it’s you.
  • Pretending to be a friend, influencer, celebrity, or brand.
  • Lying about your age, gender, or identity to trick or manipulate others.

No dangerous or harmful content

Zupp is not a place to encourage or glorify dangerous behavior, self-harm, or graphic violence.

  • Promoting or encouraging self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide.
  • Promoting or encouraging dangerous challenges or risky behavior.
  • Sharing or describing graphic violence or cruelty.

Note

If you are struggling, please seek help from people you trust or local support services. Zupp is not a crisis service.

No glorification of self-harm

You must not use Zupp to glamorize or encourage self-harm or severe mental health struggles.

  • Posting content that makes self-harm or starvation look attractive or desirable.
  • Encouraging others to hurt themselves or suggesting they should.
  • Sharing step-by-step content about how to hurt yourself or others.

No graphic, sexual, or violent content

Zupp is not a place for explicit content. If it would likely be removed from major social platforms, it is probably not allowed here either.

  • Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content.
  • Graphic images of injuries, blood, or violence.
  • Sexually explicit jokes or content meant to shock or disturb people.

No misinformation or fake media designed to mislead

You must not use Zupp to deliberately mislead or trick people with fake content.

  • Sharing deepfakes or heavily edited media presented as real.
  • Posting fake screenshots, news, or quotes to manipulate others.
  • Using AI-generated content to pretend something happened when it did not.

No spam or repetitive unwanted content

Spamming makes the app worse for everyone and is not allowed.

  • Sending the same message or link to many people.
  • Flooding someone’s inbox with repeated messages or invites.
  • Posting random or irrelevant links, codes, or promotions.

No selling, trading, or commercial use

Zupp is for making friends, not for business or trading.

  • Advertising products or services.
  • Asking for money, gifts, or rewards in exchange for favors.
  • Offering to promote or “boost” others for payment.

No illegal activities

Any form of illegal behavior is not allowed on Zupp.

  • Selling or promoting drugs, weapons, or other prohibited items.
  • Sharing or advertising contraband.
  • Organizing, encouraging, or supporting criminal activities.

No scams or fraud

Zupp is not a place to trick people out of money, accounts, or personal information.

  • Asking for money or gifts under false pretenses.
  • Promoting fake giveaways, crypto schemes, or “influencer opportunities”.
  • Trying to obtain login details, codes, or other sensitive info through trickery.

No platform abuse or exploitation

You must not abuse Zupp’s systems, features, or bugs.

  • Using bots, scripts, or emulators to automate swipes or messages.
  • Selling or trading Zupp accounts, gems, or in-app benefits.
  • Exploiting bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages.

No ban evasion

If you are banned from Zupp, you are not allowed to return by creating new accounts.

  • Creating a new account after suspension or ban.
  • Helping someone else return to Zupp after they were banned.
  • Using multiple accounts to continue behavior that led to a ban.

No interference with moderation

Do not try to interfere with Zupp’s safety systems or moderation decisions.

  • Harassing or trying to manipulate moderators or support.
  • Encouraging others to break rules or bypass restrictions.
  • Filing false reports to attack or annoy someone.

Final reminders

These Community Guidelines exist to keep Zupp safe, respectful, and real for everyone.

If you break these guidelines, we may remove your content, limit your account, or ban you. In serious cases, especially those involving minors, threats, or exploitation, we may also involve law enforcement.

We use a mix of human review, user reports, and automated tools to detect and respond to harmful behavior. But keeping Zupp safe is not just our job – it’s yours too.

If you ever feel uncomfortable or see something that breaks these rules, please report it and consider blocking the user. Speaking up helps protect you and other people on Zupp.

We review and update these guidelines as Zupp grows and new issues appear. Please check back from time to time so you know what is expected.

This is your space. Let’s protect it together.
